The first thing that makes this peer support group unique is it's designed for women who are interested in healing through writing while receiving support from one another.
Writing is a powerful coping skill and form of self-expression. According to the Huffington Post, journaling offers the following benefits:
The second thing that makes this peer support group unique is the meetings will take place virtually, without being impersonal. We will use video-enabled meeting software so that women can participate across different time zones and still have the ability to see and connect.
